A new and exciting two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree in Radio Broadcasting

 

At Western Texas College's own FCC licensed FM radio station 91.1 KGWB:Radio

  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment
  • Produce announcements and programs
  • Prepare news and sportscasts
  • Broadcast WTC sporting events to local and worldwide audiences
  • Learn the inner workings of a radio station

You will:

  • Become a station staff member and gain valuable on-the-job experience
  • Assume the same responsibilities as in a commercial broadcast operation
  • Compile a professional portfolio through the 16-week internship at a commercial radio station as part of your degree program
