The English Department at Western Texas College offers a variety of English courses to help prepare you for almost any career of your choice, such as a media planner, speechwriter, city manager, reporter, and lawyer, just to name a few.

English classes help you write clearly and persuasively and strengthen your communication and critical thinking skills. Our goal is to provide a firm foundation that will allow you to confidently attend medical school, law school, or even business school or go after the career of your choice.
